Uganda is a classic adventure tourism destination. Indeed, Bujagali falls, which lies down stream of the source of the Nile an hour’s drive east of Kampala, is the East African counterpart to more southerly ‘adrenaline capitals’ such as Victoria falls and cape town.

Bujagali is the launching point for a commercial white water rafting route that ranks as one of most thrilling but also one of the safest in the safest in the world, passing through the three heart –stopping Grade Five rapids in one day. Other safari activities at Bujagali include Sun set trips, Fishing trips, Full day River cruises, Multi – Day trips, Full Day Lake cruises, mountain biking, kayaking. The whitewater rafting activities have three options: half day, full day and two days, from a minimum of 5 kilometers to 30 kilometers. Sport fishing adventure tour

Sport fishing safaris in Uganda are carried out on Lake Victoria and Murchison Falls National safari Park. Murchison falls is famous for its stunning fish species. Large, strong   Nile Perch living in the turbulent waters below the fall as well as several species of cat fish are fished and a variety of a smaller species which are used as live bait for the larger fish.   Fishing in Lake Victoria Uganda is implausible! Over 108 kg have been trapped below the Falls in Murchison falls. Apart from Nile perch, other fish you can catch include catfish of over 50kg Tilapia, Tiger fish, Ngara (Genus alestes), ferocious fighter and barbel. For fishing safaris, experienced guides are required to ensure the best opportunity for success.

Rwenzori Mountaineering and Adventure attractions

The Rwenzori Mountain is a world’s Heritage Site and offers tourists and Ugandans the opportunity to see nature at its best with a wide diversity of flora and Fauna. The plant life varies from heavy rainforest, bamboo forest, Montane and the scenery is truly spectacular.
Mountain Elgon in the eastern part of Uganda is the considered as eighth-highest mountain in Africa. The mountain offers unique and excellent and relatively undemanding introduction to Afro-montane climates and vegetation, culminating in the ascent of a 6km wide volcanic caldeara studded with small waterfalls, caves (cave painting) and hot springs.

Guided nature walks.

Walking safaris are carried out between Buhoma communities in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and the town of Kisoro via Nkuringo and vice versa. This experience offers a low cost insiders perspective into village life in rural Uganda.
In Mgahinga National park the Batwa trail leads from the base of Nuhavura to Garama cave. This walk is conducted by the Batwa guides who provide insight into their traditional forest life and culture.  Kibale and other parks also provide walking opportunities to visitor like the Kanyachu nature trail in Kibale Park.
