Uganda primate safari Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth Park , 5 Days

Day 1: KAMPALA / QUEEN ELIZABETH UGANDA HOLIDAY
On the day 1 of your Uganda Holiday your will travel to Queen Elizabeth. The journey to the park will take you through the scenic country side of Ankole. Lunch in Mbarara town and proceed for your wildlife safari. Check in at your lodge and game drive to the crater lakes will be rewarding. This cluster of extinct volcanoes north of Mweya safari lodge can be explored by the winding 27km crater Dive between the main gate and the equator gates. This provides superb views into numerous craters, some filled by lovely lakes. As well as toward the Rwenzori and a cross the rift valley. Transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Simba safari lodge/ Institute of Ecology.

Day 2: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING SAFARI AND GAME DRIVE
Morning cup of coffee to have the energy for the chimpanzee tracking experience in Kyambura Gorge. The chimps are delightful apes, more closely related to humans than to any other living creature, it is fun and rewarding to watch the chimpanzees as they squabble and play in fruiting trees. Return to the lodge for lunch after the chimpanzee tour. After lunch, you will have a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, while the boat trip you will have an opportunity to see wildlife like hippo’s huff and spray mere feet away from the boat, buffalo linger in the shallows. The shores of the Kazinga channel are also home to an array of bird species like pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork and many more. After the afternoon boat trip, we will drive back to Lodge for an Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Simba safari lodge/ Institute of Ecology (FB)

Day 3: QUEEN ELIZABETH / BWINDI NATIONAL PARK
Morning tea and take your journey to Bwindi gorilla tracking l park. The drive will take you through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth to see the tree climbing Lions and the true wilderness Uganda safari experience for your Africa holiday. You will have a picnic Lunch in the Wilderness and then proceed to Bwindi national park. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort camp / Buhoma community bandas.

DAY 4: GORILLA TREKKING
After a heavy breakfast you will set off for your briefing from the guides for your gorilla experience, Go gorilla tracking in the forest sanctuary of Bwindi . The tour begins at 8.00am. You are advised to carry packed lunch, enough bottled drinking water and walking sticks will be given to you before walking to the forest. An encounter with an earth shaking remaining gorillas in the park for photos and talk to them for some time. After tracking the mountain gorillas, you may opt for a nature among the local communities for evening entertainment drive to Kabale for an overnight stay at Arcadia cottages or Bushara Island camp (B).

Day 5: BACK TO KAMPALA
After breakfast, you will transfer to Kampala arrival late in the evening.
