This safari will take you to Murchison falls fro chimpanzee tracking in Kaniyo Pabidi Forest, wildlife viewing and Kibale chimpanzee tour

This morning your will depart by road to Murchison Falls National Park. Lunch on the way then a nature walk to the top of the falls is rewarding. You will trail around the top of the falls go right up to the water’s edge. You have the opportunity to hike to the top of the falls from where you will be able see how the calm Nile forces itself through a narrow gorge through which it explodes into the falls. After you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at luxury Paraa Safari Lodge/ luxury Chobe safari lodge / Budget Red chilli Camp.

This morning of your tour, you will have breakfast early then go for chimpanzee tracking in Kaniyo Pabidi forest where you will see primates, butterflies and bird species in the forest. After tracking the chimpanzee, we will drive back to the lodge for lunch before taking an afternoon boat trip to the foot of Murchison Falls. This boat trip along the Nile is often cited as being the highlight of a trip to Murchison since it allows you to get up-close and personal with the animals. Along this stretch of the river, there are reported to be around 4,000 hippos in addition to some enormous Nile crocodiles. The bird life is stunning with brightly colored kingfishers and bee-eaters darting along the riverbanks. If lucky, you may see the rare and prehistoric looking shoebill, which is a cross between the dodo and a dinosaur. The boat takes you to the base of the falls which only adds to their impressiveness.

Morning cup of tea at your lodge, travel for your chimpanzee safari trip to Kibale with packed lunch. The journey to Kibale is long but rewarding with stunning view banana plantation and homesteads. You will arrive Fort portal in the evening as you view Foot hills of the Rwenzori Mountain. Continue to Kibale for an overnight stay at Luxurious primate lodge or Chimpanzee Guest house.

This will be your Chimpanzee tour day in Kibale. You will have breakfast and assemble at your briefing point. Your primate walk will start from Kanyanchu River camp at 8:00 am. It will last for 2-4 hours and is the most popular walk, highlighting diversity of different animals and plants species within the forest. This walk is restricted to three groups of six persons each, in the morning and the same number in the afternoon. After the chimp experience you will return to your lodge for lunch then start your journey to Kampala.
