Uganda wildlife safari to Queen Elizabeth, Lake Mburo and Bwindi gorilla tracking
Day 1: Arrival / Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari
On the day 1 of your Uganda safari Holiday your will travel to Queen Elizabeth. The journey to the park will take you through the scenic country side of Ankole. This cluster of extinct volcanoes north of Mweya safari lodge can be explored by the winding 27km crater Dive between the main gate and the equator gates. This provides superb views into numerous craters, some filled by lovely lakes. As well as toward the Rwenzori and a cross the rift valley. Your reach in park for your lunch later take a game tour around Katwe Explosion craters. This will offer superb views into numerous craters, some filled by lovely lakes, as well as across the rift valley and Rwenzori. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/ luxury Ihamba lodge / Simba safari lodge / Institute of Ecology
Day 2: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
This day will start with a game drive heading to the mating ground of the Uganda Kobs. You may see other residents of the park’s grassland like lions, elephants, buffaloes. Waterbucks, giant forest hog and other wildlife safari animals in their natural habitat before returning to your lodge for your breakfast. After late break fast you will relax at your lodge and wait for lunch. After lunch, you will have a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, while the boat trip you will have an opportunity to see wildlife like hippo’s huff and spray mere feet away from the boat, buffalo linger in the shallows. The shores of the Kazinga channel are also home to an array of bird species like pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork and many more. After the afternoon boat trip, we will drive back to Lodge for an Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / luxury Ihamba lodge /Simba safari lodge/ Institute of Ecology (FB)
Day 3: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK – BWINDI
Set for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest located in south Western Uganda. You journey will take you through Ishasha, home of the tree climbing lions, roads permitting, or take the alternative route through rural cultivated expanses of Western Uganda. Time permitting, go for a short stroll around the Safari Lodge or explore the village. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort / Buhoma community Bandas (FB).
Day 4: GORILLA TOUR BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Before starting your gorilla tracking, you will fast be briefed about the tracking experience by your ranger guides. You will walk through the dense forest in search for the gorillas through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. (This gorilla Tour experience may take a half an hour to 5 hours.
You will have time you get closer and Sit in the forest among the gorillas, listening to them grumble to each other, and marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male; the silverback. Depending on the time you will spend with the gorillas, you may opt for a nature walk after the trekking experience.

Day 5: BWINDI – LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
A relaxed cup of coffee at your lodge before traveling to Lake Mburo Wildlife Park. Lunch in Mbarara town and continue to the park a game drive and boat trip will be carried out this evening. The boat trip will take 2 hours and you will see a diversity of plants species and animals like hippopotami, crocodiles, and birds like heron, pelicans, black crake, cormorant and fish eagle if lucky you may see the shoebill. Sleep at luxury Mantana lodge / budget Rwonyo camp (FB)
Day 6: LAKE MBURO / KAMAPLA
This will be your last day in Lake Mburo national. En route game drive as your travel back to Kampala. Lunch at Hotel Brovad in Masaka and another st BWINDI opover will be at the equator and Mpambilwe drum makers for crafts. Arrive Kampala for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Africana or Holiday Express Hotel.
